Amazon Black Friday deals 2021: 48-hour flash sale is live now – CNET

Kindle Paperwhite for $105 (save $35)

I charged the Signature Edition on a Qi wireless charging stand. If you read like this, you’ll never run out of battery.

David Carnoy/CNET

The new Kindle Paperwhite isn’t your typical Amazon e-reader. This premium offering boasts a 6.8″ display with a 300-ppi screen and 17 LEDs, making it easier to read in the sunlight, like you were reading a real newspaper. It also comes with more storage if you want it (the Signature Edition has 32GB), it’s water-resistant and it features up to 10 weeks of battery life.

And best of all, the latest, 11th generation Kindle Paperwhite is currently on sale for the first time ever thanks to Amazon’s Black Friday deals. You can now buy the Kindle Paperwhite (8 GB) for $105 or the Kindle Paperwhite Kids for $115. Currently, there’s no sale on the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.

Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6500: $90 (save $60)

The Philips Sonicare ProtectiveClean 6500 Rechargeable electric toothbrush is currently on sale for $90, down $60 from its original price of $150. The electric toothbrush features three sensitivity modes for cleaning and comes with an extra brush head and a charging travel case. It comes in three colors: navy blue, pink and black.

Nat Geo Earth Science kit: $21 (save $9)

What better gift is there for the young scientist in your life than a kit with 15 different earth science experiments inside? And at this price, it’s perfect for anyone.

National Geographic

There are 15 science experiments contained within this kit, everything from the standard volcano experiment to growing crystals and dueling water tornadoes. It’s everything you could want in a starter science kit for young ones.

6.7-inch Serbian Chef Knife: $26 (save $19)

One of the chef knives made popular by TikTok chefs is on a steep discount today, and the good news is it’s a decent knife even if you don’t plan on making videos with it.

This full tang chef knife is an usual design compared to what you’ve seen in most places, and that’s intentional. The high-manganese steel blade will capture attention and get the job done for less than most other highly stylized knives.

TheraGun Elite: $299 (save $100)

Price slashed on this ultimate massage tool, making this one of the best deals on massage guns.

The percussive therapy of the new, fourth-generation TheraGun Elite is on sale for $299 (save $100). This massage gun provides a powerful deep muscle treatment quieter than the average massage device. An ergonomic multigrip handle also helps you hold the device without straining your hands and arms.

Philips Hue Lightstrip starter pack: $69

This Hue deal gets you a 6-foot color-changing light strip that you can stick behind a TV, beneath the countertops, above your cabinetry or anywhere else you’d like. It also gets you the all-important Hue Bridge, which plugs into your router, quarterbacks all of your Hue lights and unlocks the best features and integrations in the Hue app. Total cost: $69, a savings of $41.

With that Bridge in place, it’s easy to expand your setup whenever you catch Hue lights on sale. That makes this a great deal for smart lighting newbies. If you’d like a longer strip, you can add a 3-foot extension for an additional $25.

Get a year of Hulu for 99 cents per month

Want to watch Dopesick, The Handmaid’s Tale, Only Murders in the Building — or pretty much anything on ABC or FX? Spend 12 bucks, and your binge picks are set for a year.

Angela Lang/CNET

Hulu’s Black Friday deal returns, and it’s open to nearly everyone — new subscribers and anyone who’s been away for more than a month. Get the ad-supported Hulu plan for 99 cents per month for 12 months, after which the price returns to its normal $7 per month (you can cancel anytime after that). That’s an 85% savings. (Anyone who came in on last year’s Black Friday $1.99 deal is excluded.)

Eufy Robovac 25C: $127 (save $22)

We’ve tested the Robovac 25C ourselves and can vouch for its respectable cleaning performance — so much so that its our recommendation for the best budget robot vacuum you can buy right now

AirPods 3 hit new low at Amazon

Earlier this week, the new AirPods were down to $155. As of today, they just hit $150 — but the deal is tricky to find. Here’s how.

David Carnoy/CNET

Amazon has Apple’s newest AirPods, the AirPods 3, on sale for just $150. That’s $30 less than the Apple Store and their lowest price to date. Note that at Amazon, you get an extra $5 off at checkout — it’s listed in green under the larger red price. If you don’t see “Save $5 at checkout,” the deal has expired. The AirPods 3 have been in and out of stock at this price.

Google Nest Thermostat: $100

Smart thermostats are incredibly useful and can actually help save you money on your heating and cooling bill. Earlier this year, Google announced some stylish new Nest Thermostats, and right now they’re 23% off. They come in silver, dark gray and rose gold, so you can pick the one you think will match your home the best.

Getting it set up doesn’t require too much experience, though if you aren’t comfortable with turning off the power and replacing your existing thermostat, you’ll want to contact a professional to install it. Once set up the first time, you can adjust the temperature from anywhere, set a schedule and more.

Beats Solo3: $100 (save $100 on select colors)

You can pick them up in black or rose gold at this discounted price.

Óscar Gutiérrez/CNET

The Beats Solo3 wireless on-ear Bluetooth headphones feature much of the same technology that Apple uses in its AirPods lineup but at a more affordable price. Using the W1 chip, these will pair instantly to your Apple devices, announce incoming calls as well as messages, and they offer up to 40 hours of playback per charge.

You can pick them up in black or rose gold at this discounted price.

Vizio M7-Series Quantum TVs on sale (save between $200 – $302)

Vizio MQ7 Series M65Q7 TV
David Katzmaier/CNET

One of our favorite TVs for the money is getting steep discounts at just about every size. The Vizio M7-Series Quantum TVs can produce a good picture thanks to full-array local dimming and a variable refresh rate, for gaming, and you can save up to $350 on sizes from 50 to 75 inches during Black Friday. With the exception of the 65-inch model, which remains scarce at Amazon, all other sizes are back down to their lowest prices of the year.

Save $750 on Mirror

Mirror, an actual mirror and LCD screen that allows you to watch a virtual instructor as well as your reflection during a home workout, is running a sale for $500 off plus free shipping — a $750 value. The sale is running now through Nov. 29 with the promo code BFCM21.

Fitbit Ace 3: $50 (save $30)

The best way to get your kids more active is to let them do what you do, and this Fitbit Ace 3 will let them have a workout just like you for a lot cheaper.

Let your kid compete with you to see who gets the most steps in a day, while also giving them a fun, colorful accessory to wear for way less than a standard Fitbit. Kids can challenge family members to competitions and learn more about their own daily behaviors without thinking about it, and parents keep all of the data on their phone.

Theragun Mini: $174 (save $25)

The biggest name in percussive massage guns is now $25 cheaper if you want a portable version that you can easily slip into a gym bag.

Rick Broida/CNET

The smallest Theragun massager is also the most important, because you can easily bring it with you anywhere and use it immediately after a big workout. The 150-minute battery life means you can hit every spot you need to and get back to your life without all of the usual soreness.

Razer Kishi: $45 (save $35)

Be ready to game anytime with the lowest price ever seen for this amazing controller, which can clamp on to either side of your Android phone in seconds and lets you charge your phone during play.

Razer Kishi controller: $45

Lori Grunin/CNET

Whether you’re playing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Google Stadia, NVidia GeForce Now or Amazon Luna this controller is the best way to play great games on your phone.

The Big One blanket: $18 (save $32)

Discounts on tech are great, but discounts on big comfy blankets are awesome. These blankets are huge and perfect for giving as a gift or wrapping yourself in.

The Big One

As the name suggests, this is a plushy, king-size blanket. It comes in several colors and will keep you warm for a long time. It’s also a solid gift for a lot less than usual.

Asus VG278Q gaming monitor: $180 with rebate (save $70)

Newegg’s got page after page of monitor deals; so many that I’m still trying to plow through them. But here’s one that struck me as good as I worked my way through the list.

Full HD 27-inch monitors around $200 are relatively common if you dig, but you’ll rarely find them as low as $180 — and they’re even rarer with more than a basic 75Hz refresh rate, not a great spec if you’re a gamer. The VG278Q offers a 144Hz refresh rate and built in speakers. Don’t expect much from the 2-watt speakers, and you can tell the monitor’s age by its HDMI 1.4 and DVI-D ports (never fear, there’s also a DisplayPort 1.2 connection). But it’s priced well for what you get. The nominal sale price is $200, but there’s a mail-in rebate form for another $20 off. If you’re not big on extra-work rebates, $200 is still a pretty nice price for the monitor.

Beats Studio Buds: Sold out at Amazon, but hitting Best Buy tomorrow

The buds come boxed in eco-friendly packaging.

David Carnoy/CNET

Missed the big price drop on Beats Studio Buds? They appear to have sold out at Amazon, but don’t worry: Best Buy previously announced that it would have the same deal starting Thursday. And Amazon sometimes restocks, too.

To recap, these solid true-wireless headphones have dropped to $100 from their original price of $150. It’s a great deal and worth seeking out when it returns.

Roomba 694 robot vacuum: $179 (save $95)

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to upgrade to a good robot vacuum, this 35% discount is just about the best you can ask for.

iRobot via Amazon

There are many different iRobot-made robot vacuums, but the Roomba 694 is the only one you can get for $95 cheaper than usual.

Roku Streaming Stick 4K: $29 (save $21)

This is the best deal in streaming devices we’ve found.

Sarah Tew/CNET

This is the best deal in streaming devices we’ve found. The Roku Streaming Stick 4K is currently on sale for less than the Roku Express 4K Plus, our favorite overall streaming device. The two are basically identical so we recommend buying whichever one costs less.

The Streaming Stick 4K offers support for Dolby Vision HDR, while the Express 4K Plus does not. The other main difference between the two is the Streaming Stick 4K’s narrow rectangular design, which plugs directly into an HDMI slot in the back of the TV. Both streamers offer a voice remote, 4K HDR streaming and Roku’s excellent interface, which we like better than Fire TV or Google TV

Read our Roku Streaming Stick 4K review.

1,500-piece Lego collection: $29 (save $29)

If your kid loves Lego, this collection is a must. The combination of colors and animals make it a perfect expansion for any collection, and for $29 it’s one of the best inexpensive gifts for younger folks you’re likely to find today.

This 1,500-piece set includes a variety of bricks and animals that can be used to build whatever you come up with in your head. There’s no right or wrong way to build with these, which means you can play with them for hours on end without getting bored.

Monoprice Voxel 3D printer: $350 (save $50)

Monoprice currently has a $50 off coupon on its website, which knocks it down from $400 to $350, and that deal is good until Monday, Nov. 29. The discount code is listed right on the page, but if you need it: 3DP33820

This slightly older 3D printer is still one of my favorites for a few important reasons. Setup is easy, and I had it assembled and was ready to start printing less than 30 minutes after opening the box, it’s got a pretty big print area (150 by 150 by150mm) and it’s also fully enclosed, which I always think keeps your designs safer while they’re printing. You might also find this being sold as the Flashforge Adventurer. Same product, different names.

Monoprice gaming monitors

Monoprice Dark Matter gaming monitors are on sale — no surprise there, given the company’s aggressive price philosophy — including a host of 27-inch options. These are a couple of my favorites.

If you’re looking for a dirt-cheap 27-inch monitor that goes beyond the typical 75Hz available in this price class, Monoprice’s (model No. 42771) hits the target at this price with its 165Hz refresh rate.

Monoprice’s big curved gaming display comes in at a not-so-big price for its class, especially since it uses the same 165Hz, 3,440×1,440-pixel VA panel as most competitors. It’s $99 off, but with code 42772DM (42272 is the model number, by the way) you’ll get another $25.

Save 50% on Blockbuster Party Game at Target

Entertaining guests during the holidays? Want to avoid hitting any hot-button topics during your gathering? Try this movie-themed mix of trivia and charades.

Big Potato Games

The charming game setup — the board is designed to look like a Blockbuster parking lot — includes trivia cards and a battery-powered buzzer (two AAA batteries required) for the head-to-head team and individual challenges. Created by Big Potato Games, this nostalgic party game is geared towards ages 14 and up and is designed for four or more players.

65-inch TCL 6-Series Roku TV: $898 (save $602)

Sure you can get a dirt-cheap doorbuster TV on Black Friday but this is also the time of year when you can get the best deal on TVs that are actually good. My current favorite for the money is the TCL 6-series, with mini-LED technology, full-array local dimming and excellent gaming features. The 65-inch size in particular is a great bargain at less than $900, but the least-expensive is the 55-inch model for $699. You can pay less than half that for TVs of the same size, but the picture quality and features won’t be in nearly the same league.

Read our TCL 6-Series Roku TV review.

Eufy HomeVac: $29 (save $21)

Every house can use a good handheld vac, and Eufy has been making decent small vacuums for a while now. This is a solid discount, but please don’t give this to someone as a gift.

You don’t always need your large vacuum to clean up messes around your house or in your car, and that’s where this portable cordless handheld vacuum really comes in handy. It offers USB charging and lasts for up to 13 minutes per charge when using it at max suction.

Minecraft Board Game: $17.49 (save $22.50)

If you want to introduce a little one to board games, Ravensburger is frequently the way to go. This Minecraft board game is a ton of fun, and at more than 50% off it’s an easy gift to give this year.

Don’t play Minecraft with the friend who lives in your phone, play it with your friends in real life. The Ravensburger-made strategy game lets you create a biome and play a game together to survive in it. It’s a lot of fun, and at a huge discount right now.

Chewy Black Friday pet supply sale

This Black Friday event has us chasing our tail with excitement.

Chewy’s Black Friday sale goes through the week, but many of these deals are gone much sooner than that. In fact, it appears the best deals are for today only. Those include dog beds, car seat covers, dog lounges and my favorite small dog carrier which is down to $27 right now (I paid $90).

Toys and treats are mostly a buy two get one free, but if your dog or cat goes through them as fast as mine, there’s no such thing as too much backup. Here are our top picks from Chewy’s Black Friday event.

Fenty Beauty: 25% off sitewide

If you’re looking to splurge on your favorite Fenty cosmetics, or if you know someone obsessed with all things Fenty, this is a deal you should check out right now. Starting today and ending Monday, Nov. 29, get 25% off sitewide at Fenty Beauty and 25% off sitewide at Fenty Skin with no promo code needed — plus free shipping.

Fenty Beauty

While the Fenty sale has two Black Friday offers, there’s also an extra Cyber Week sale with up to 75% off select items. The 25% savings you get sitewide do not apply to anything you buy from the extra Cyber Week offer.

Fenty Beauty is a brand that I’ve hyped for quite some time. I love all the lipstick and gloss, but Fenty Skin is my favorite. As a skincare-obsessed person, one Fenty Skin product I love is the Before Bed 3-piece PM Essentials set, which I’ve found to be a delightful addition to my nighttime skin care routine.

SK Hynix Gold P31 2TB PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 SSD: $208 (save $37)

Expand your desktop or laptop storage to 2TB with this PCIe NVMe SSD with read speeds up to 3,500MB per second and write speeds up to 3,200MBps.

SK Hynix

SK Hynix’s Gold P31 PCIe NVMe Gen3 M.2 2280 internal SSDs are the world’s first 128-layer NAND flash-based consumer SSDs, making them fast enough for gaming, video editing and other demanding applications. If you’re tired of running out of storage space for your game library (I know I am), the 2TB P31 is the way to go. It usually sells for $245, but Amazon has it for 15% off right now. You’ll just need to check a coupon box below the price and add it to your cart to get the lower price.

The coupon knocks nearly $37 off, bringing it down to about $208. If that’s more storage than you need, the 500GB and 1TB sizes have 15% off coupons as well.

Kickstart your online learning from Coursera for just $1

Coursera offers thousands of classes from respected institutions.

Coursera, an online course provider, is offering your first month of its Coursera Plus premium subscription for $1. Coursera operates similarly to a traditional college course with enrollment windows, free audits and certificates that might apply as a credit at an institution. The Coursera Plus $1 deal runs through Dec. 4 for new premium subscribers only. After that, you’ll be charged the usual monthly rate of $59 — but you can cancel anytime.

Coursera has over 4,000 courses to choose from in topics such as business analytics, graphic design and coding from accredited institutions like Yale, Stanford and more.

Roku LE: $15 at Walmart

Roku is CNET’s favorite streaming platform thanks to its ease of use and compatibility with all of the major streaming service apps, from Netflix to Disney Plus to YouTube (for now). And starting today you can get a Roku that attaches to any television for a dirt-cheap price.

The Roku LE is the cheapest streamer we’ve ever seen. It’s a small dongle that connects to your TV and via an included HDMI cable, comes with a basic infrared remote and streams in HD (1080p) resolution. It’s basically identical to the Roku Express except that it’s white, not black.

The LE is cheap, but we think it’s still worth paying a bit more for a 4K Roku with a better remote, which are on sale for as little as $29. On the other hand at this price it makes sense if all you want is basic streaming for the lowest price.

This device is exclusive to Walmart and is available now online and in stores starting Nov. 26.

Dell XPS 13: $980 (save $320)

One of the best ultraportable Windows laptops you can buy is available at substantial discount. Right now you can get the latest Dell XPS 13 for the base model’s price but loaded with higher-end components.

Sarah Tew/CNET

The Dell XPS 13 is an amazing laptop for someone who’s looking for a premium Windows experience on par with what you’d get with a MacBook Air. The starting price usually hovers just below $1,000, so at first this might not look like a great bargain. The key is what you get inside for the money — the base model XPS 13 delivers pretty average productivity performance. This discounted model is loaded up with an 11th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of memory and a 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD for storage, which will give you strong performance for years to come. Plus, it just looks good.

Linksys Hydra Pro Wi-Fi 6E router: $250 (half off)

Wi-Fi 6E is a brand new designation for current-gen Wi-Fi 6 routers that are equipped to transmit data over the newly-opened 6GHz band, which is something that routers couldn’t do before an FCC vote last year. That 6GHz band is extra-wide and free from interference from earlier-gen Wi-Fi devices, so it’s sort of like Wi-Fi’s new VIP section.

It’s still very early for Wi-Fi 6E, with only a handful of devices that support it, but if you want to take advantage of it at home (or future-proof your home network for devices yet to come), then you’re going to need a Wi-Fi 6E router quarterbacking your connection. All of the ones available so far are very expensive and tough to recommend outside of the earliest of early adopters — but now, one of those routers is on sale for half off, bringing the cost down to $250.

The router in question is the Linksys Hydra Pro, an AXE6600 Wi-Fi 6E tri-band router that can connect on the 2.4, 5 and 6GHz bands. $250 for it is downright reasonable, and the first good Wi-Fi 6E sale that we’ve seen this year.

Wonder Woman 36-inch trampoline: $38 (save $37)

If you’re looking for a gift for a kid who has it all, this 36-inch trampoline may just be the one to get. It’s currently 50% cheaper than the other prints and works well both indoors and outdoors.

These small trampolines are great for indoor or outdoor use and it’s a great way to help your children get some energy out during the colder months. Only the Wonder Woman print is discounted right now, though there are also Superman and Batman versions available.

Samsung Odyssey G9 Series 49-inch: $1,100

Big monitors are expensive — at least the decent ones — so Black Friday is the best time to try to pick one up at a less budget-busting price. This is a popular model that serves dual purposes as a productivity boosting display during the day and a great gaming monitor for nights and weekends.

The 2020 49-inch G9 improved on its predecessor by doubling of the refresh rate to 240Hz (with 1ms MPRT), a slightly jazzier design with a deeper 1000R curve and the addition of G-Sync Compatibility to already existing FreeSync 2 support. It offers 5,120×1,440 resolution and DisplayHDR 1000 certification, plus the broad color gamut typical of a QLED display. All those add up to a powerful — not to mention desk dominating — gaming monitor.

$1,190 seems to be the all-time low price for this beast, making this a great deal if you’ve been eyeing it. It typically goes for $1,400, not so you’re only really saving $300 rather than $500, but that’s nothing to sneeze at, either.

Anker boombox: $50 (save $50)

The Anker Select Pro has an integrated light show.

We’re not seeing a whole lot of good Bluetooth speaker sales for Black Friday this year, but this one is worth checking out: Anker’s fully waterproof Soundcore Select Pro mini Bluetooth speaker with LED lighting is only $50 at Walmart. Normally, it retails for $100.

I haven’t tried the Soundcore Select Pro, but I have used the Anker Soundcore Motion Boom. The two speakers appear to be the same except for a few notable differences. The Select Pro has a smaller rechargeable battery — 6,700 mAh instead of the Motion Boom’s 10,000-mAh battery. That reduces the Select Pro’s battery life to 16 hours instead of 24 hours for the Motion Boom at moderate volume levels. The smaller battery also makes the speaker a little lighter.

Philips Sonicare Rechargeable Toothbrush: $30 (save $20)

It’s time to take better care of your teeth, and the Sonicare 4100 is here to help. It lasts for up to two weeks per charge and will help make sure your teeth are in the best condition they’ve ever been.

I always thought electric toothbrushes were a bit silly, until I tried one out for myself. They really do help get your mouth next-level clean and this option from Philips offers up to 14 days of brushing per charge. You only get one set of adult teeth, so make a small investment to help keep them clean.

AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro are both below $160 at Amazon

This deal was live, then dead. Now it’s live again: The all-new AirPods 3 are back down to their lowest price at Amazon. But Amazon is also matching Walmart’s $159 price on AirPods Pro. Now that they’re basically the same price, which one is best for you? Check out our head-to-head comparison.

David Carnoy/CNET

Amazon has Apple’s newest AirPods, the AirPods 3, on sale for just $155. That’s $24 less than the Apple Store and other retailers. Note that at Amazon, you get an extra $15 off at checkout — it’s listed in green under the larger red price. If you don’t see “Save $15 at checkout,” the deal has expired. The AirPods 3 have been in and out of stock at this price.

Apple’s AirPods Pro were briefly as low as $169 at Walmart and $170 at Amazon for Black Friday 2020. More recently, the wireless headphones have been ping-ponging between $180 and $200. Right now, the new model — with the MagSafe case — is available for $159 at Walmart and Amazon, a new all-time low. Note that at Amazon, you get an extra $15 off at checkout — it’s listed in green under the larger red price. If you don’t see “Save $15 at checkout,” the deal has expired.

Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller: $140 (save $40)

Microsoft has the best deal on the best Xbox controller this week. The Elite Series 2 is amazing, and much cheaper on the Microsoft Store right now.

Not every Xbox controller is the same — some are built to be customized in way more ways than color. The Elite Series 2 has 30 different ways you can change it, including adjusting the tension on the thumb sticks and the amount of force you apply to the triggers. You can truly make this controller yours, and that way you’ll never need to share it.

Razer Anzu Smart Glasses: $130 (save $70)

Why buy normal shades when you can have smart shades? Razer’s Anzu glasses are great shades that also have a built-in mic and speakers. They make a decent Bluetooth headset, but they’re also solid for listening to music on the go.

David Carnoy/CNET

Smart glasses mean different things to different companies, but Razer’s Anzu are great Bluetooth headphones without needing to wear something else on your head. They look nice, they sound nice, and they come in two different sizes.

Cricut Explore Air 2: $169 (save $59)

Cricut has been turning heads all over with its Explore 3 and Maker 3 this year, but it’s the previous generation Explore Air 2 that’s on a hefty discount this week.

One of the most popular vinyl-cutting machines you can buy today, the Explore Air 2 is everything a crafty home maker needs in order to make just about anything.

Roku Streambar: $80 (save $50)

Why bother with a soundbar and a Roku separately when you can have both in one for just slightly more? Roku’s Streambar does everything a normal Roku does, while also acting as a great soundbar with much better audio than what normally comes from your TV. This deal drops the price considerably, and makes it perfect for any home.

Sarah Tew/CNET

A combination soundbar and 4K HDR streamer, Roku’s Streambar is an excellent way to “smartify” a bedroom TV with improved sound and streaming in one fell swoop. This compact speaker will outperform the sound in just about any television, and is especially good at elevating hard-to-understand dialogue. Even if you don’t need the (excellent) streamer, the soundbar itself is a great deal at this price.

Read our Roku Streambar review.

Calphalon 10-piece Nonstick Cookware Set: $128 (save $122)

In addition to the huge upfront discount you get on this set, Kohl’s is also tossing in $30 in Kohl’s Cash, which you can use towards a future purchase of anything that the retailer sells. This is a great kit for new and experienced cooks.

This 10-piece set comes with everything you need to get started in a new kitchen and makes for a perfect upgrade for anyone with a mismatched set of pots and pans. It’s an aluminum nonstick cookware set that is oven-safe up to 450 degrees. Be sure to use code ENJOY15 for the full savings, and remember that you’ll also score $30 in Kohl’s Cash for a future purchase.

Coravin Wine Preservation System: $112 (save $38)

This is one of the only wine gadgets that the wine fanatics I know care about. It allows you to “open” and taste an unlimited number of bottles without exposing them to harmful oxygen.

I recently asked a few of my most oenophile associates if there was one gadget or piece of wine gear that they liked most and the answer came back in near-unanimous fashion: Coravin’s wine preservation system. And it’s on sale right now. Coravin allows you to pour wine from any bottle without uncorking it, thus preserving the wine so you can drink it as slowly as you’d like and move from bottle to bottle without fear of them spoiling.

TCL 10L: $220 (save $80)

You don’t have to spend a lot on unlocked phones anymore to get something that’s usable as a daily driver. The TCL 10L features a large screen and a high-quality camera at just over $200 (and it looks pretty nice as well).

Eli Blumenthal/CNET

With a large 6.53-inch screen, plenty of storage and a 48-megapixel camera, the TCL 10L has a lot to offer for its $220 price. The 256GB TCL 10L usually costs $300, but it’s available at a $80 discount on Amazon ahead of Black Friday. Our reviewer Eli Blumenthal experienced some lag when testing the TCL 10L, but still gave it credit for its elegant design and ability to handle basic tasks well.

Read our TCL 10L review.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller: $59 (save $11)

Sarah Tew/CNET

We’ve tested many Pro-style controllers for the Nintendo Switch and while there are some good ones out there, none of them measure up to the feel and features of Nintendo’s own Switch Pro controller. However, the controller is $70 and rarely gets discounted. Right now you can get it for $59 at GameStop — $11 off, with free shipping. You just need to put it in your cart to see the sale price.

Air fryers have been all the rage lately, and for good reason. They can cook up hot, delicious meals much faster than a traditional oven or deep fryer, and with a fraction of the mess. This high-capacity model from PowerXL even features two frying baskets so you can easily cook multiple items at the same time.

This 12-month PlayStation Plus subscription will be delivered to you in the form of a digital code so you can get going within just a few minutes of receipt. It’s $20 less right now, which brings the monthly cost down from $5 to just $3.33. You can stack these for multiple years of access, so grab a few of them right now before the price goes back up.

Shark VacMop: $59 (save $41)

This two-in-one vacuum can clean up just about any mess you can make on your hard surface floors. It can vacuum up solids and then you can use the pad on the bottom to clean up liquid messes. It’s lightweight, portable and a great addition to any house that has hardwood, laminate or tiled floors.

Messes are inevitable, but that doesn’t mean that cleaning them up has to be a pain for you. The Shark MopVac is designed to clean all your hard floor surfaces with ease. Whether you spill a cup of water or some crumbs from dinner end up all over the floor, just grab this and clean it all in seconds. The cordless vacuum has a strong suction and just pressing a button helps you clean up sticky messes.

The pads are disposable so if you have a tough mess, just throw the pad away and replace it with a new one instead of worrying about having another thing to clean.

Fitbit Charge 5: $130 (save $50)

Lexy Savvides/CNET

The newest Fitbit tracker is already on sale, and now available at its best price ever. Now that Fitbit has delivered on the features it promised via a software upgrade (including the electrocardiogram app and the Daily Readiness Score), it’s a better buy than ever. As CNET’s Lexy Savvides says in her review: “With great fitness-tracking, a bright screen, long battery life and compatibility with Android and iOS, we’ve awarded the Charge 5 an Editors’ Choice.”

AirPods Pro: $159 (save $90 vs. Apple Store)

This is one of the best headphone deals of the season. While it sounds like these could go $10 to $11 lower at membership warehouse stores, this is otherwise the best price to date on Apple’s noise-canceling earbuds, and cheaper than the new AirPods 3.

Apple’s AirPods Pro were briefly as low as $169 at Walmart and $170 at Amazon for Black Friday 2020. More recently, the wireless headphones have been ping-ponging between $180 and $200. Right now, the new model — with the MagSafe case — is available for $159 at Walmart, a new all-time low.

Save up to 25% at Under Armour

Under Armour

There’s a holiday deal for everyone getting ready for winter, with a sporty twist. Under Armour is currently offering up to 25% off men’s, women’s and children’s winter styles.

So, who is the perfect person for this deal? Fans of Under Armour, as well as those who intend to exercise in the cold. Women’s bottoms are divided into three categories: short, regular and tall, with sizes ranging from extra small to 2XL. Hoodies and tees come in a similar size range. For men, shirts come in sizes ranging from small to 3XL, and bottoms come in sizes ranging from small to 4XL.

The classic cotton fleece sweatpants and sweaters available now are plenty cozy, but we’d also like to call your attention to Under Armour’s outerwear — those warm jackets and parkas you’ll need for the bitter cold.

Remember that everything on sale is only available for a limited time. Once these things are out of stock, you’ll most likely be unable to get them, so act fast.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: $25 (save $15 or more)

GameStop came in heavy with its first big Black Friday deals recently, offering The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for just $25. Amazon followed suit, but it’s since sold out there.

This open-world game is a modern classic, widely regarded as the best game on the Switch and one of the best games of all time. It scored a rare 10/10 at our sister site GameSpot, as well as winning Best Action/Adventure Game, Best Game Direction and Game of the Year for 2017 from The Game Awards. (And those are just a handful of its accolades.) Bottom line: If you’re new to the Nintendo Switch, or if you’re giving a Switch as a gift this year, you absolutely want this game, and this is the best price you’re likely to find.

Apple Watch SE: $219 (save $60 vs. Apple Store)

This is still the best Apple Watch deal of the season. The Series 3 is about half the price, but it’s so old, it’s just not worth it.

Vanessa Hand Orellana/CNET

The Apple Watch SE has been a hot item this holiday season, and Best Buy is the first major retailer to have it on sale. The $219 price is for the 40mm mode, but the 44mm model is $60 off as well (selling for $249). These watches come in lots of cool color combinations, but are selling out quickly (some colors are already gone), so we recommend moving fast on this deal. You get six free months of Apple’s Fitness Plus service included.
